Leslie Rosenthal is a fine art photographer who lives in Pasadena, California. Born in Boston, Massachusetts and a graduate of UCLA film school, she comes from a diverse background of movie production, editing and business management, but photography has always been the driving creative force in her life and her camera the gateway to a story waiting to be told. Rosenthal’s photographs from New York, Havana, Guatemala and Venice (both Italy and California) have been featured in exhibitions in Los Angeles. She is accredited with numerous photography awards including first place honors in the International Photography Awards, the Black & White Magazine Single Image Contest, the Prix de la Photographie, and the Black & White Spider Awards. Her images have been selected for Women in Photography Silver Anniversary Competition and American Photography 23. Rosenthal’s photos have been featured in the PDN, Photographers Forum and Black & White magazine.
